Feast of Jean d’Arc Rouen (end of May- beginning of June)
The city of Rouen celebrates its most illustrious citizen with a medieval market staged on the Cathedral square. The event commemorates the tragic end of the heroine, who was burnt alive on the square on 30th May 1431. The feast sees numerous activities such as the medieval market, concerts, religious celebrations and parades in historical dresses. .


Tour de Normandie (end of June)
An unmissable event for old cars lovers. It is hard not to remain impressed by these fascinating vehicles which drive through the picturesque streets of Normandy. The tour aims at the rediscovery of the hidden treasures of the region, so every stop is accompanied with a Tour Village, where it is possible to refresh oneself with local products, join some Norman feasts and admire the beautiful cars.

Feast of the sea and mackerel Trouville sur mer (July)
Trouville is a fishermen village which activities are strictly bound to the sea and sailing. Every year, the small town celebrates this tight bind with the festival "Fete de la mere et du Maquereau", an explosion of sardines, mackerels and many other local fish products.
The event is accompanied with music entertainment, kids animation, and the traditional blessing of the boats.


Night historical event Epreville en Lieuvin (July)
In July, the park of the “Fortiere casle” in the town of Epreville-en-Lieuvin plays host to a beautiful night historic evocation. 60 actors, 11 knights and more than 160 local people are involved in the event, perfroming every evening in front of an amazed audience.

Honfleur Jazz Festival (mid August)
This is one of the main events taking place in the picturesque village of Honfleur. The festival is entirely dedicated to jazz music, with several free concerts arranged in many parts of the town. The festival can boast illustrious participations by famous artists the likes of Claude Bolling, Boby Durham, Dany Doriz and Rhoda Scott. The festival is organised by the association "Jazz aux Greniers".

American Film Festival Deauville (first half of September)
This is the most prestigious European event dedicated to American independent film industry. Every year various film previews take place, and the festival is attended by numerous Hollywood stars the likes of Clint Eastwood , Liz Taylor, Tom Cruise, Sharon Stone, Michael Douglas and Julia Roberts. Since 1975 the American film festival has offered a rich calendar of previews, performances, concerts and entertainments.
